Sent south of the wall from his home on the Isle of Skye when he was young, Rodric grew up under the tutleage of Sir Richard Buell. During this time, it became hard to distinguish him from another english lad, save some of the minor accents rooted deep in his scottish heritage. During his time he learned everything he could in the art and history of war and combat. At the age of 18, MacLeod took to his own feet, joining the Scots Dragoons and making a Drumhellar of himself. To this day, he keeps a mix of roguish and noble attire. He feels as he has all of this, he can adapt himself to fit any numble of social placements, which makes it easy to hide and gather information, or sometimes to stand out and bring attention away from where it might be honestly needed. At the age of 20, after two years of the most dangerous fighting he'd ever had the misfortune to be acquainted with, he retired from the dragoons, joining amongst a band of mercenaries, hoping his talents for the theatrics might better serve making his name and fortune there.
